A Trip Down Memory Lane

Hello, all you diehard TW readers! Chris here. I know you're all suffering through withdrawal while Pete does his Montana thing this week, but I've got some good news:

The process of updating the archives has been underway for about a week now, and every post dating back to the beginning of Roland Garros is now online. The only casualties of the process thus far (besides my eyesight) are some of the many links Pete scattered throughout his pieces—oftentimes news sites remove articles that he's linked to, so I've tried to note this where possible.

The other thing is that going through all these posts has been an interesting look back through the events of the year. You might not want to read every single post, but there'll be a few here and there that'll catch your attention (for example, it was neat to look back at Andre Agassi's state immediately after losing in the French Open, and to consider it all now in context of his incredible U.S. Open run).

Anyway, I plan on finishing the project—every post, including Day One—by the end of Monday, October 31. Permalinks for all!

P.S.—For those of you who're wondering: At the bottom of any TW page, you'll find a link for our RSS feed, ingeniously called "RSS News Feed."
