Dunlop’s SX series is all about spin. The frame’s unique grommets, string spacing and shaft are all engineered with the intent of putting serious work on the ball. It’s designed for players who rely on spin to control their aggressive, attacking shots.

The latest incarnation of the racquet was tweaked to deliver even more spin potential, particularly on off-center shots. When players take a big cut at the ball, there’s a greater chance of making imperfect contact. The SX is now more forgiving and applies added spin on those types of shots, so there’s improved consistency and control. This gives players added confidence to go for their shots and closer to the lines.

To coincide with the grass court season, and just ahead of Wimbledon, Dunlop is releasing special limited edition versions of the SX 300 and SX 300LS racquets. Instead of the customary yellow base and black accents, the frames will have a white base with yellow accents. Outside of the unique colorway, the racquets will have the same exact specs and technologies as the current models.

Dunlop touring pros such as Miomir Kecmanovic, Dalma Galfi and Michael Mmoh will be playing with the limited edition cosmetic through the end of the year.

Both frames are priced at $199 and will be available at pro specialty retailers starting June 23.
