The end of Jannik Sinner’s 2023 season just keeps on getting better.

Two days after leading his nation to its first Davis Cup title in 47 years, the 22-year-old heard his name chanted by more than 75,000 fans inside San Siro Stadium.

Attending AC Milan’s UEFA Champions League showdown with Dortmund, Sinner briefly addressed the crowd from the pitch before closing with a “Forza Milan!”

Chants of “JANNIK! JANNIK! SINNER! SINNER!” Immediately erupted in unison as the world No. 4 waved with gratitude.

Sinner was also presented with a personalized jersey and caught up with Zlatan Ibrahimovic. Milan would unfortunately come out on the losing end in a 3-1 defeat.

The same can't be said for the San Candido native, who closed out his best season to date with a bang.

After picking up ATP 500 titles in Beijing and Vienna with final-round wins over Daniil Medvedev, he then won his first four matches at the Nitto ATP Finals to the delight of his home fans in Turin before Novak Djokovic avenged an earlier round-robin defeat in the championship match.

The following weekend in Malaga, Sinner tremendously saved three consecutive match points to best Djokovic for the second time in a 12-day span. He then teamed up with Lorenzo Sonego to topple Djokovic and Miomir Kecmanovic in a winner-all-take doubles clash and 24 hours later, clinched the Davis Cup crown after blowing past Alex de Minaur, 6-3, 6-0.
