Advisory

Howdy. Monday Morning Quarterback, a regular TennisWorld feature, won’t be up until late today (I’ll be writing about Andy Roddick, who had a big win this weekend). You regular readers know that TW has only been up and running since the Australian Open of this year, which means this is very much a work in progress. This can make things somewhat hectic and unpredictable at times. Among other things, my compadre Chris Chung (he’s got my back with his copy-editing and Internet skills) and I are gearing up to install some great new features—like a search function—that will enhance TennisWorld and make it more versatile and user-friendly. You can lose hours and even days dealing with this stuff (it’s a little like renovating a kitchen), so if you detect a few stutters, glitches, or breaks in coverage over the weeks leading up to the French Open—which I’ll be blogging for you from Paris—bear with us. I’ll also be trying to take a few vacation days here and there in the country before the big summer events. In my neck of the woods (the western Catskills in New York State), the skunk cabbage is up, the buds on the red-osier dogwoods are popping, and the trout are rising to caddis and mayflies. I’ll keep you posted.
