Anderson hosts charity event for animal, ocean rescue
Over the weekend in Boca Raton, Fla., Kevin Anderson hosted an event benefitting South Florida dog rescue Dezzy's Second Chance and Ocean Conservancy's Trash Free Seas Alliance.
Anderson and his wife Kelsey adopted their dog Lady Kady from Dezzy's.
On Saturday and Sunday, the Grand Slam Cause for the Paws featured a chat hosted by comedian Michael Kosta with Sebastien Grosjean, Tennys Sandgren, Eugenie Bouchard and Shelby Rogers, autograph and photo sessions, a silent auction and on-court action with Mike and Bob Bryan and Sandgren.
Anderson hopped on the guitar during the after party celebrations.
The world No. 6 is still auctioning off items, including signed merchandise by the likes of Rafael Nadal, Serena Williams and Roger Federer, Christmas gifts, tournament tickets, electronics, jewelry and more.
His efforts have raised over $100,000 so far.
