Andy Murray dresses up in dragon suit during Wimbledon prep

The former No. 1 sat out Roland Garros, both to stay fit for his home major and, it appears, to embrace his inner child.

There are times when the Internet will bless us with something and there isn’t a comment or quip in the world that could do it justice.

But it’s Andy Murray in a dragon suit: we have to try. So, here goes…

I’ve heard of a dragon slaying but this is ridiculous!

I’ll keep workshopping it.

Anyway, the former world No. 1 broke up the mid-week monotony of Roland Garros to debut this gem on his Instagram, surely a moment from playing with his four children while he prepares for Wimbledon.

Murray has made the most of his hybrid scheduling throughout 2022, including earlier this spring when he took a training break to visit Disney World in Orlando.

“They say never to meet your heroes but @mickeymouse was an absolute legend!” he wrote in April.

Murray will play his first match of the grass-court season at the Surbiton Challenger against Jurij Rodionov tomorrow.

Can he…bring the fire? Or will he…Imagine Dragons?
