Andy Murray touches on fun and serious topics in Q&A
Andy Murray had to miss this year's Australian Open to have hip surgery, but if it's any consolation, he took a ton of questions from fans on Twitter.
The three-time Grand Slam champion offered insight into the tournament, his rehab, current controversies and much more.
He was pretty upbeat about his heath, even going so far as to say he'd be back on the court "Very soon."
In light of the nearly four-hour, 4-6, 6-4, 15-13 epic between Simona Halep and Lauren Davis, Murray said he prefers it when Grand Slams don't use a final-set tiebreak.
He also addressed the pros and cons of switching the men's matches to best of three sets.
The Brit was optimistic about the future of Australian tennis, particularly with respect to 21-year-old Ashleigh Bartyâwho was eliminated in the third roundâand Nick Kyrgios.
On to less serious topics, he revealed some personal preferences, such as: Pancakes and Nutella: good; Vegemite: bad.
The 30-year-old opened up about his language-learning aspirations ...
and about his relationship with his mother, Judy.
Lastly, for any doubters, he clearly wants to get back to playing.
