Howdy, folks.

I am about to hit the road for the farm in game-rich Andes with the family, where we'll spend the three-day holiday weekend. I have a post on Roger Federer that will go up tomorrow in the AM and will be around for the weekend, but with limited Internet access. You will have CC's each day - if not from me then from Rosangel or Andrew. I'll be watching the matches, and we'll get back in the fray next week.

The menu next week includes a live chat with Tomahawk Perrotta in Melbourne, and we're also trying to pull together a group to watch the AO on (probably) Thursday evening with me and Steve Tignor (among others). We're trying to come up with a good, public venue (like a sports bar) where we'll actually be able to get them to turn on the tennis. Anybody from the New York contingent have any suggestions? I will keep you posted if we come up with a crowd-friendly option.

I thought that given the rampant libidas (that's the female libido) of the TWibe (man, do we have some frisky chicas around here, or what?), I would throw a bone to our long-suffering male readers - hence this image of 'Lena.

Enjoy the matches, everyone! And have a great weekend.
