Well, I turn my head for two minutes and look what happens: Federer comes through with a Warrior Moment (yes, you read right!), James Blake puts his hand on his tummy and almost gets burned, because there appears to be fire there now, and Lleyton Hewitt remembers how to fight as in the days of yore. And how about that Venus, or Maria Kirilenko - are y'all ready for the Clash of the Titans, Vince Spadea vs. David Ferrer?

This is shaping up as one of the best Australian Open tournaments in recent memory; can anyone else hear the tectonic plates of the game, grinding and shifting? The continents haven't split apart and the volcanos haven't erupted - but you kind of get the sense that at any moment they might, and fine skin of order enveloping the game might burst apart in 10 different places. I didn't get to see much tennis yesterday, as I was traveling, but I'll be watching some tonight.

I think the top players most at risk today are Serena Williams, Jelena Jankovic, and David Nalbandian (I'm curious to see if the dude is rockin' a front porch, again, as someone suggested in an email.

This will be your match-calling and general discussion thread for the evening. I'll be back for Sunday Brunch tomorrow and we'll have CC threads for you as well.
