It's time to get out and play. Tennis is one of the safest sports since there's no physical contact and you can stay six feet apart from your partner.

Since every state, and even city, has been opening at their own pace, the status of open courts will vary from region to region. But if you're in luck, you'll finally get to put down the crafts, turn off the TV and dig out your tennis racquets.

Whenever you do get to go back out on court, here are some basic guidelines to help you and your partner stay safe.

  • Wash your hands thoroughly or use a hand sanitizer after coming off the court.

  • Don't use the locker room or changing area. Shower at home instead. 

  • Don't hang around in groups after playing.
