Morning all. Please use this as your space to comment on the ongoing tennis. The quarterfinals in Barcelona are being played today; it's also the start of a weekend of Fed Cup tennis.

Today's Order of Play in Barcelona can be found on this link. In the absence of David Nalbandian due to injury, there are only three quarterfinals being played. We kick off with Radek Stepanek and Nikolay Davydenko, followed by the all-Spanish clash between Tommy Robredo and David Ferrer, and finishing with Fernando Verdasco up against Fernando Gonzalez. Stepanek leads the head-to-head against Davydenko 3-4, but the two haven't played since 2007. Ferrer leads Robredo 3-2, but Robredo won their last meeting, which was on clay in 2008. Gonzalez and Verdasco are 2-2 overall, but it's three years since they played each other. All but one of their meetings in the past have gone three sets - let's hope today's is a good one.

Enjoy today's tennis.
