Breaking: J.J. Wolf's mullet bites the bullet
Wolf is now serving up a fresh hairstyle just in time for the new season and his 23rd birthday.
J.J. Wolf is not well known on the ATP Tour. The 23-year-old has played primarily at the Challenger level, winning five Challenger titles. But the Ohio State University star quickly became a fan favorite on tour because of his one-of-a-king mullet. He even rocked the mullet at Indian Wells this year, his first appearance at the Masters 1000 event.
However, the mullet era of his career appears to be over as he celebrated his 23rd birthday on Tuesday. Looks like the American will be entering the new season with a fresh new look. Wolf was spotted without the mullet on the Kass Tennis Academy's Instagram page—short hair and everything.
We will miss his statement hair, but perhaps this is the momentum he needs to have a breakthrough year.
