Bublik thanks Murray after losing to him in straight sets
The 20-year was very humble after the expected loss to the world
At least getting steamrolled by the world No. 1 hasn't dampened Alexander Bublik's humbleness. After losing to Andy Murray, 6-1, 6-4, 6-2, in the first round of Wimbledon, Bublik took to Instagram to express his thanks for the match.
Discussing Murray's hip problem after the loss, Bublik referred to the Brit's quick movement.
“If he’s struggling with injury and he runs like this,” Bublik said, “imagine how he’s going to run when he doesn’t have any problems.”
Even though he lost, hot shots like these helped make the match even more memorable for the 20-year-old qualifier.
