MIAMI—During the ‘regular’ season, ATP and WTA players are accustomed to Hard Rock Stadium—home of the NFL’s Miami Dolphins—being turned into the host of a combined 1000-level tournament.

On Monday evening, Carlos Alcaraz, Amanda Anisimova, Joao Fonseca and Jessica Pegula had the opportunity to add an MLB venue to their lists during the off-season at the inaugural Miami Invitational.

Before the four players took the court at the transformed LoanDepot Park, Alcaraz popped out for a brief hitting session with a legendary one-namer from Brazil: Ronaldo.

It was among the highlights we captured on a field traditionally occupied by members of the Miami Marlins and their visiting opponents. As was an instance where the world No. 1 struck himself in the face after framing a volley, one of several moments involving our 2025 ATP Player of the Year selection.
