While Carlos Alcaraz's quest to win the Sunshine Double came to an end on Sunday at the hands of an inspired Sebastian Korda, a champion's trophy is coming back to the family's household thanks to his 14-year-old brother, Jaime.

Jaime Alcaraz is a promising tennis player in his own right, and displays many of his elder brother's mannerisms on the court. And this week, he stood shoulder-to-shoulder with Murica Challenger champion Pablo Carreno Busta as the tournament's under-15 division winner.

Last year at the Australian Open, Alcaraz expressed that he was proud of his youngest brother, who was contesting the prestigious Les Petit As tournament at the time, for "playing those tournaments the same as I played when I was his age," while keeping expectations realistic.

"I’m just trying to support him, being supportive for him, trying to [take away] all the pressure that people put on him," he said. "I’m just happy to see him growing and … becoming, let’s say, a grown man.”

In 2023, an 11-year-old Jaime Alcaraz won a Rafa Nadal Tour junior event in Madrid, Spain, following in his older brother's footsteps  And in Murica, he finished off a rout of Rodrigo Burgos with the loss of just three games with a point that had fans on social media wondering where they'd seen that before, too.

Might we see Alcaraz versus Alcaraz on the ATP Tour in the not-too-distant future?
