Just as AI predicted the AO ahead of the year's first Grand Slam tournament, we turned to ChatGPT for its predictions on the men’s and women’s singles brackets.
“Here are the likely winners of each match, based on current form, head-to-head records, surface preference (assuming clay as this is during the French Open season),” replied our AI analyst upon questioning.
Among the remaining eight in each draw are both defending champions and world No. 1s, the 2024 Paris Olympic gold medalists, first-time quarterfinalists, four Americans, a returning mom, a rising teenager, a husband of (soon-to-be) two kids and a three-time Grand Slam finalist.
Here’s how the tournament will play out, according to ChatGPT:
