Remember Audrey Hepburn’s little black dress in “Breakfast at Tiffany’s”? The Russian's winning dress in New York was reminiscent of that little number. Sharapova lifted the second of her five Grand Slam trophies sporting the headline-grabbing dress.

In collaboration with Nike, designer Virgil Abloh created the 23-time Grand Slam champion’s show-stopping ballerina-inspired dress that she donned during her run to the final.

Along with Caroline Wozniacki, Muguruza wore the Adidas by Stella McCartney Barricade dress that incorporated laser cuts and inserts at the French Open three years ago. The 2016 champion fell to eventual winner Simona Halep in the semifinals.

Appearing at her first Grand Slam event since returning from a 15-month doping suspension, the former world No. 1 wore a Swarovski crystal and lace-embellished Nike dress that was designed by Riccardo Tisci. Playing a night match, Sharapova shocked second-seeded Halep in three sets.
