In addition to pulling back the curtain on the Aussie living quarters, Saville's tour pulled back intimate details of the most viral aspect of the Olympic Village: its beds made of cardboard.

Ever wonder how an Olympic athlete lives during the Games? Thanks to Daria Saville, your questions have now been answered.

The Aussie, set to play her second Olympics in Paris, gave fans a behind-the-scenes look at the Olympic Village on her Instagram this weekend less than a week ahead of the start of the tennis competition at Roland Garros.

The 30-year-old, who will be playing singles and doubles with Ellen Perez, took advantage of some quiet time in the apartment she'll be sharing with her partner, and Aussie teammates Ajla Tomljanovic and Olivia Gadecki, to pull back the curtain on their shared apartment, which consists of two bedrooms, a living space, and a shared bathroom.

Saville's tour also revealed some of the intimate details of the most viral aspect of the Olympic Village: its beds made of cardboard, in the interest of sustainability.

As part of organizers' efforts to make the 2024 Olympics in the French capital the "most responsible and sustainable Games in history," all of the nearly 15,000 beds are made from recycled materials. (The "mattresses" are reversible, with vary degrees of firmness.)

She and Perez later linked up to "test out" the beds in various activities, including squat jumps, volley practice, doing the worm, and even racquet smashing.

We've heard of the old saying, "If you break it, you buy it," but does that ring true at the Olympics, too?
