Naomi Osaka suffered a 7-6 (4), 6-2 loss to Yulia Putintseva in the opening round. The world No. 2 is struggling to find consistency under newfound expectations and pressure. The two-time Grand Slam champion wore a Nike dress with a slit on one side at the top and a pleated asymmetrical bottom.
