Playing with a strapped left calf, Caroline Wozniacki got off to a flawless start to win the first seven games against world No. 68 Veronika Kudermetova. The No. 13 seed somehow lost, 0-6, 6-3, 6-3. Thirteen players have won 6-0 sets, but Wozniacki is the only one, so far, to do it and lose.
