Dayana Yastremska splits with coach Oliver Jeunehomme
The 19-year-old Ukrainian made the announcement on Twitter, revealing the partnership ended the previous week in Osaka.
Rising teen Dayana Yastremska, who notched her first Top-10 win this week, has announced that she and split her coach a week ago during the WTA Premier tournament in Osaka.
The 19-year-old has stopped working with Oliver Jeunehomme, who is affiliated with the Justine Henin Tennis Academy where Yastremska trains.
"I would like to thank him for his work, his involvement and support," Yastremska tweeted.
Henin also joined Yastremska as a coaching consultant in 2018.
Yastremska did not announce a new coach. She defeated world No. 2 Karolina Pliskova in Wuhan, her first event since the split. The three-time WTA champion is currently a career-high No. 27 in the rankings and will next compete at the China Open in Beijing.
