Juan Martin del Potro says he is getting physically tired from all his recent play but will keep going as he attempts to qualify for the ATP Tour Finals.

The Argentine appeared to be having back problems at this week's event in Basel, Switzerland, but still won his quarterfinal and semifinal matches in straight sets. He is also scheduled to play next week at the Paris Masters.

"I've had some problems in my body because I've been playing so many matches in a row," del Potro was quoted by AFP as saying. "But I'm not putting my body at risk if I play tomorrow or next week. I speak a lot about fitness with my team. There is no risk to keep on playing."

Going into Basel, del Potro was No. 11 among players planning to compete at the ATP Tour Finals. However, he was only 310 points behind No. 8 Pablo Carreno Busta, and could qualify with good performances in Basel and Paris.

The top eight players qualify for the ATP Tour Finals.
