Djokovic revisits Kopaonik for Friendship Camp
While all of his rivals are preparing to duel it out in Geneva at the Laver Cup, Novak Djokovic is busy... picking potatoes? The world No. 1 visited the Serbian village Brzece in the Kopaonik mountains, about three hours drive from Belgrade.
Djokovic was in the area for the seventh annual edition of "Drugarijada" or Friendship Camp, which was attended by 130 Serbian children. The event is part of his Novak Djokovic Foundation efforts to improve the lives of local youths.
Kopaonik has a special place in Djokovic's life as where he hit his first tennis ball and started working with his first coach, the late Jelena Gencic.
