Dustin Brown dazzles with backhand in Germany
The local favorite is competing in an ATP Challenger.
Once you get over the shock of an orange tennis court that sounds like it's made of wood, take a look at Dustin Brown's backhand. Playing in front of a home crowd at an ATP Challenger in Ismaning, Germany, the 32-year-old was up to his old tricks.
The drawsheet for the $43,000 event says the surface is carpet, but that doesn't look to be the case as Brown skids all the way down to his back for a winner.
It's far from the only hot shot the world No. 123 has produced on the orange courts. Earlier in the week, he ripped a tweener passing shot by Hubert Hurkacz.
Brown is into the semifinals as he looks to raise his ranking back inside the Top 100.
