Federer jets to Chicago to promote the Laver Cup

It seems like Roger Federer bounces back faster than anyone. One day after losing a heartbreaking final to Juan Martin del Potro in Indian Wells, the Swiss was on a plane to Chicago, happily promoting Laver Cup.

Federer held three match points while up a break in the third set, but lost, 6-4, 6-7 (8), 7-6 (2). Instead of sulking, he got right to work, spreading the word about the second annual Laver Cup, set to take place September 21-23 in Chicago.

Federer also didn't forget to acknowledge Del Potro, who was meant to play in the inaugural Laver Cup last year but was forced to withdraw.

The Laver Cup will pit two teams (Team World and Team Europe) against each other across two days of singles and doubles matches.

Federer will fly down to Miami on Tuesday, and play his opening-round match on Friday or Saturday.
