Federer overtakes Tiger Wood as No. 1 prize-money earner

His second match win in the ATP Tour Finals put him just over $11

Roger Federer can break records that don't even involve lifting a trophy over his head. After defeating Alexander Zverev in his second match of the ATP Finals, the Swiss overtook Tiger Woods as the highest prize earner in individual sports.

At a cool $110, 235, 632, he beat the golf star by just under $200,000 (Woods has earned $110,061,012 from tournaments).

While Federer may be king when it comes to winning, Woods still beats him quite easily in overall earnings, earning $1.65 billion with prize money and endorsements while Federer has "only" earned around $600 million.
