From Crisis to Suicide!
'Noon, everyone. Now that all of you Roger Federer fans have survivied you anxiety attack, I'm pleased to say you'll have a tribute post to The Mighty Fed - co-written by a fellow Tribe member, whose name I can't divulge, but it begins with a "T" and ends with an "i" - posted little later today.
Meanwhile, some shop talk: You may notice that the "Search" function is temporarily on the fritz. We're trying to correct that and I will let you know when it is up and running again. Also, James LaRosa is blogging from Paris. He's an aspiring screenwriter from Los Angeles (I guess that doesn't narrow the field much. . .but, hey) who won a blogger's trip to Paris in a The Tennis Channel contest. He makes an interesting observation on how Maria Sharapova engages the press in his latest entry.
And on to the Suicide Pool. The Tribe seems to be alive and well. A dozen of you are still factors in the men's division, and a full 22 on the women's side. Go Tribe! Bring it home, Snoo, Becks, GV, et al!
Remember, the names in red are out of the competition, the ones in green are still representing. How about that "T -- i", going with Vliegen, Kohlschrieber, and Youzhny? Cue "Livin' on a Prayer."
