Naomi Osaka, winner of the past two Grand Slam titles, is on a 15-match win streak in major tournaments. Throughout her unbeaten run, the Japanese star has prevailed in six three-set matches, rallying from a set down three times.

On Tuesday at Roland Garros, Osaka survived yet another early-round thriller with a 0-6, 7-6 (4), 6-1 victory over Anna Karolina Schmiedlova, a match where the world No. 1 was just two points from defeat on multiple occasions.

Here's a look back at Osaka's closest calls from her last three Grand Slam tournaments:

1. Osaka turned to the back wall of Louis Armstrong Stadium for some help in her 6-3, 2-6, 6-4 win over Aryna Sabalenka in the fourth round of last year's US Open.

2. In her first of four three-set victories at the 2019 Australian Open, Osaka eventually overpowered the tricky Su-Wei Hsieh in the third round, 5-7, 6-4, 6-1.

3. Osaka survived Anastasia Sevastova, 4-6, 6-3, 6-4, in the very next round in Melbourne.

4. In one of the hardest-hitting matches in recent memory, Osaka raised her level to take out Karolina Pliskova, 6-2, 4-6, 6-4, in the Australian Open semifinals.

5. In an unforgettable final, Osaka came up clutch to win her 14th consecutive Grand Slam match, and second straight major, with a 7-6 (2), 5-7, 6-4 victory over Petra Kvitova.
