GALLERY: Team World crowned as Laver Cup champion for first time
Felix Auger-Aliassime and Frances Tiafoe came up clutch Sunday in London.
On Sunday, Team World captured its first Laver Cup crown in five attempts by defeating Team Europe, 13-8.
Frances Tiafoe cemented the victory by saving four match points against Stefanos Tsitsipas for a stunning comeback effort, 1-6, 7-6 (11) [10-8]. The American was put in the clinch position on the back of Felix Auger-Aliassime’s doubles success with Jack Sock and singles win over Novak Djokovic.
