Goffin enjoys birthday with the French team

David Goffin is celebrating his 27th birthday while on vacation in the Maldives with members of the French Davis Cup team. The Belgian's team was beat out by France, 3-2, in the recent Davis Cup final.

Goffin is joined on holiday by Lucas Pouille, Pierre-Hugues Herbert, Jo-Wilfried Tsonga and their respective leading ladies (including Tsonga's baby son).

Goffin is celebrating his career-best season on the tour. His win over Herbert in the Rotterdam semifinals back in February earned him a spot in the Top 10 for the first time. He would win two titles in the fall (Shenzhen and Tokyo) and qualify for the ATP Finals.

Goffin would end the year at No. 7. Tsonga and Pouille closed at No. 15 and No. 18, respectively.
