Halep picks up WTA fan favorite of 2017 award

Simona Halep has been named WTA Fan Favorite of 2017, snapping Agnieszka Radwanska's six-year streak.

The Romanian finished the year atop the rankings with a title in Madrid and a final run at Roland Garros. She's still seeking her first Grand Slam crown.

Radwanska isn't ending the year empty handed. She won her fifth-straight shot of the year crown.

The Pole, now ranked No. 28, also secured the second spot in the hot-shot poll:

Meanwhile, Karolina Pliskova won an award for best Czech player.
