Isner quizzes Paul, Opelka, Tiafoe and Fritz
It can get lonely in isolation, but here's a fun group to (virtually) be a part of: John Isner hosted rising Americans Taylor Fritz, Frances Tiafoe, Reilly Opelka and Tommy Paul for a chat segment and a quiz on the ATP and WTA's new weekly web series, Tennis United.
In the quiz game, Isner would ask the group who among them best fits a certain personality trait. For example:
1
Who is always late?
Fritz, the group answered unanimously.
The remaining questions covered ...
2
Who is the biggest eater?
Opelka
3
Who is the messiest?
Fritz
4
Who is most likely to get defaulted from a match? Opelka 5 Who is most likely to star in a Hollywood movie?
Fritz
"Fritz does live in L.A.," Isner pointed out.
5
And, Who would you least want to be in quarantine with?
No **one
"I'd love to be in quarantine with all three of you guys," Fritz said.
Paul then added, "Actually, us four in quarantine would be ideal."
The group's long-developed chemistry was evident in the casual-talk segment as well, which included gentle jabs at Fritz and his "gaming chair," analysis of Paul's quarantine routine—"He wakes up around 2:30–2:45 p.m.," Opelka said—and an appearance from Isner's daughter, Hunter Grace.
Tennis United, hosted by Vasek Pospisil and Bethanie Mattek-Sands, returns on Friday, via the ATP and WTA's Facebook pages and YouTube channels.
