Jannik Sinner surpasses 30 million dollars in career prize money after winning ATP Finals

He’s the third player born in the 2000s, male or female, to hit that number after Carlos Alcaraz and Iga Swiatek.

It was already a sweet week for both Jannik Sinner and Taylor Fritz at the ATP Finals in Turin, but after receiving their prize money cheques at the season-ending event, it gets even sweeter.

Sinner, who cruised to his first ATP Finals title without dropping a set—or even losing more than four games in a set—earned a record pay-out of $4,881,100 for his triumph. And with that, he not only surpasses $30 million in career prize money, he soars past it.

He came in with $29,108,484 and leaves with $33,989,584.

The 23-year-old Italian is already up to No. 10 on the all-time highest career prize money earners in ATP history.

Sinner is the third tennis player born in the 2000s, male or female, to surpass $30 million in career prize money, after Alcaraz ($36,876,485) and Iga Swiatek ($33,141,991).

Meanwhile, Fritz surpasses $20 million in career prize money following his run to the final of the season-ending event, where he finished runner-up to Sinner on Sunday night.

He came into the tournament with $18,840,153, and with his finalist's cheque of $2,247,400, he leaves with $21,087,553.

He’s the seventh man born in 1997 or later to hit that milestone.
