Johanna Konta welcomed the latest addition to her growing family this week, revealing daughter Emmeline to social media on Tuesday.

Konta announced her pregnancy earlier this spring, having previously retired from tennis at the end of 2021:

A three-time Grand Slam semifinalist, Konta earned a career-high ranking of No. 4 in the summer of 2017 after reaching her best major result at Wimbledon. After inconsistencies the following season, Konta enjoyed a 2019 resurgence that included a Roland Garros semifinal and Wimbledon quarterfinal—taking her back to No. 11 in the rankings.

Konta ultimately called time on her career due to a persistent knee injury, subsequently marrying longtime boyfriend Jackson Wade last December.
