Keys, Vandeweghe post 9/11 tributes
September 11 follows quickly after the US Open wraps each year, and no matter how anyone fared on the court in the days earlier, everyone takes time to remember the worst terrorist attack on U.S. soil in history.
Madison Keys shared a moving post, as did fellow American CoCo Vandeweghe.
It's been 18 years since the day changed the New York City skyline forever.
The 2001 US Open wrapped up just two days before 9/11, with Venus Williams and Lleyton Hewitt winning that year.
