Kvitova gets a little dirty for Elle Czech magazine

Two-time Wimbledon champion Petra Kvitova is a massive star in her native Czech Republic, and she was recently featured in Elle**Czech magazine.

The current world No. 5 posed on a hot day at historical local red clay courts in Prague. She was shot by photographer Radka Leitmeritz, who was also a photographer for the latest ESPN Body Issue.

Kvitova is accustomed to being in the spotlight. She has been featured in photo shoots before, including Czech brand, Alo Diamonds.

It’s been a big few weeks for Kvitova. She reached the semifinals in Cincinnati, knocking off Serena Williams along the way in a tight three-set match. After falling to eventual champion Kiki Bertens on Saturday, the 28-year-old is the No. 3 seed this week in New Haven.

The four-time New Haven champion is looking to fine-tune her game ahead of the US Open, which starts on Monday.
