In Acapulco, one day after ousting Rafael Nadal, Nick Kyrgios won yet another blockbuster, this time over Stan Wawrinka.

The Australian advanced to the semifinals, 7-5, 6-7 (3), 6-4 in just over two hours and 30 minutes. He had to survive a scraped hand in the first game, leg cramps and the three-time Grand Slam champion's resurgent form.

After the match, Kyrgios revealed what may be part of the secret to his success this week: his walkout music.

"I just had a bit of opera playing today, just to clam me down," the 23-year-old said.

He'll get back into the Top 50 after his performance this week, and will play John Isner for a spot in the final. The other semifinal features Alexander Zverev and Cameron Norrie.
