Lacoste dropped Novak Djokovic's "22" AO jacket—and it's already sold out online

At the time of writing, there is only one limited-edition "22" jacket left in the world. But for Djokovic fans looking to jump through fewer hoops in order to commemorate No. 10 , there's still some good news.

Novak Djokovic's historic 10th Australian Open win made all the headlines this past weekend, but it was his eye-catching new jacket that stole the show during the trophy ceremony.

After completing his straight-sets victory over Stefanos Tsitsipas in the final, Djokovic put on his custom Hublot Big Bang Meca-10 watch and paired it with a white semi-transparent warm-up jacket by clothing sponsor Lacoste.

The new garment commemorated the Serbian's victory and featured a large "22" adorning the right chest area—a nod to the men's Open Era record that Djokovic equalled with the win, as he tied Rafael Nadal with 22 Grand Slam singles titles.

Luckily for Djokovic's legion of loyal fans, the jacket was eventually available for purchase for a limited time only. But there's a twist, as only 22 pieces were created by Lacoste and most of them have already been claimed:

  • 11 jackets were available online (sold out)
  • 10 jackets were available at the Lacoste flagship store in Paris (sold out)
  • 1 jacket was available via a game held on Lacoste's Discord server "UNDW3"

At the time of writing, that Discord server was home to over 54,000 members and counting, with the game being open only those holding a particular NFT. That means getting your hands on the last "22" jacket in the world might almost be a tougher task than racking up 10 Australian Open titles to begin with.

But for Djokovic fans who want to jump through fewer hoops in order to commemorate the victory, there's still some good news. After all, that Lacoste jacket wasn't the only commemorative item worn by Team Djokovic on Sunday evening in Melbourne.

As the incoming ATP world No. 1 celebrated "22", his team and family were all about "10" as they donned their own custom T-shirts for the occasion:

According to the Sydney Morning Herald, the shirts were created by a Melbourne-based T-shirt company Death By Zero—who received the order for them at 11 p.m. the night before the final.

“Seeing them pull the T-shirts out and just so proudly put them on, I was just like, Wow, what an amazing moment,” small business owner Alexandra Munro told the Herald.

She also revealed that the shirts were actually a gift from Melbourne restaurant owner Stefano Rassu. He became a close family friend to the Djokovics over the eight years they dined at his now-shuttered Sardinian restaurant Pomodoro Sardo, and he footed the bill for the 20 shirts.

The shirts were designed and printed in-house by DBZ in record time, featuring Serbian flag motifs and a "10" for his Australian Open victories, as well as the words "Team Djokovic" over the left chest area and on the back.

The commemorative T-shirts are now available for purchase online, due to popular demand.

And yes, they do ship internationally.
