Late Boomer
Amelie Mauresmo has just won the Australian Open, but under the most extraordinary of circumstances. Justine Henin-Hardenne, down a set and a break and getting bombarded by an amazingly focused and on-form Mauresmo, up and quit. I don't know the details on this, so I'm reserving judgement. But my gut reaction, right now, is that what Henin-Hardenne did is absolutely, completely, totally inexcusable. Full report later, after the smoke in the interview room clears. . .posters, weigh in!
