With the latest showdown between Team Europe and Team World nearly upon us, here’s what the players lining up for the two sides have to say.

The prestigious Laver Cup takes place in Germany for the first time this week, with 12 of the ATP's best players going head to head for Team Europe and Team World led by two icons of tennis—Bjorn Borg and John McEnroe.

With just four days to go until the first ball is hit, we’ve collected quotes from some of the stars contesting the event, including Taylor Fritz, Alexander Zverev and Carlos Alcaraz.

"I’m so excited about returning to Laver Cup. The atmosphere is always electric and for the Laver Cup to be at home in Germany, for me in particular, is going to be a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
