Happy Sunday, everyone. Now the stillness descends and the preparations for Wimbledon kick into a higher gear for all concerned, including you. Laptop tuned to TennisWorld? Check. Decaffeinated Green Tea with Mallorcan lime? Check. Skittles? Check. Answering machine on and doorbell ripped off the door frame? Check. Heart-rate monitor and assorted electrodes attached to chest? Check.

This is as good a place as any to post your final thoughts before Wimbledon gets underway tomorrow, including your predictions. Anyone care to venture a guess on which seeds will fall in either draw on Day One? I posted a picture of John McEnroe, it would only be right to post the image of a woman today. I'm going with Jana Novotna, who pieced together a story containing more pathos than any Wimbledon champ in recent memory.
