Rafael Nadal donned a jacket for his 12th career trophy presentation at Roland Garros. For the second year in a row, he beat Dominic Thiem in the final.

Saisai Zhen and Ying-Ying Duan reached the women's doubles final, only to fall to Kristina Mladenovic and Timea Babos, 6-2, 6-3. The Chinese duo were unseeded.
