Lopez becomes parent for the first time

Feliciano Lopez and wife Sandra Gago welcomed a baby boy this week. The couple got married at an exclusive estate in Marbella in 2019 and in June they had announced they were expecting their first child.

"Welcome to our lives, Dario," Lopez wrote on his latest Instagram post.

On Thursday, the happy couple was spotted leaving the hospital as new parents. Gago carried little Dario with masks hiding what must have been smiles.

The world No. 63's last event was at the ATP Masters 1000 event in Paris. Lopez would give 20-time major champion Rafael Nadal a run for his money, as he pushed him into a tight deciding set.

The 39-year-old new father is entered in the Australian Open.
