Mattek-Sands reacts to huge outpouring of support

The 32-year-old was crumpled up in agony with an acute knee injur



Wimbledon hasn't been kind to Bethanie Mattek-Sands. On Thursday, a horrific fall sent her to the hospital in a stretcher midway through her second-round match. Her right knee looked to be in very bad shape, but the outpouring of support has lifted the doubles world No. 1's spirits.

Then on Friday, she took to Facebook Live to update her fans:

Mattek-Sands suffered a dislocated and ruptured patella tendon, and flew to New York City for surgery.
