98175989 Y'all can't imagine how happy most of the writers in the press room here at the Sony Ericsson Open were when it was announced that the Andy Roddick vs. Rafael Nadal was the day match  today(1 pm start). It feels especially good to write those words as I sit here just after 10:30 pm, with Justine Henin and Kim Clijsters beginning the third set, after one of the most impressive displays of choking (by Clijsters) that we've ever been obliged to endure. Where is the Supertiebreaker third-set when you can really use it?

I always get a little melancholy on Good Friday, so having to work isn't the worst thing. It's a welcome distraction, at least for those periods of the day not reserved for reflection. Enjoy the tennis.

If you saw the way Nadal played against Jo-Willy Tsonga the other night, you might be move to feel sympathy for Andy Roddick. But as Fernando Verdasco said earlier today, he'd like to see his "partner" Rafa win, but he has all the respect in the world for Andy, and would never be so foolish as to write him off. Enjoy the tennis, everyone.
