Serena Williams lived it up in South Beach last weekend, but not for a run-of-the-mill girls' weekend. The 35-year-old celebrated her baby shower with her family (including sisters Venus, Lyn and Isha, and mother Oracene) and friends.
All of the details were revealed in a People magazine exclusive. The two-day extravaganza was actually both a baby and bridal shower at the 1 Hotel and Homes South Beach resort.
The weekend highlights included yoga, a private cruise, ocean and beach time, and a luxurious suite with Reddit-themed piñata decorations.
On Sunday, the women dressed up in their yellow best to visit the Bottle & Bottega Miami where they painted and enjoyed the private beach.
Williams is expecting her first child with Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian in the fall. They have yet to publicly announce their wedding date.
