Murray quizzed by Manchester United's Rashford for tickets
Here's a fun present for Andy Murray's 33rd birthday: By showing off his knowledge of all things Manchester United and Marcus Rashford, Murray won tickets to sit in Rashford's box for a United game of his choice.
In the quiz for the ATP's Instagram page, Murray and the Manchester United forward asked one another questions to find out how well they each knew the other's career. And Murray, as one might expect, came prepared.
The former No. 1 managed to nail four of the five questions:
How many goals did Rashford score in his first Manchester United game?
2
What's Rashford's jersey number?
10
How many goals has Rashford recorded playing for England?
10 (Murray guessed correctly without even being given multiple-choice options.)
When did Rashford win the FA Cup with United?
2016
The one questions Murray missed:
Who was Rashford's opponent in his first Premier League match?
He said Liverpool when the squad was Arsenal.
Rashford, despite his best efforts, answered correctly only twice:
What year did Murray reach the No. 1 ranking?
2016
Whom did Murray defeat to first become a Grand Slam champion?
Novak Djokovic (at the 2012 US Open)
The questions he missed:
How many times has Murray won Wimbledon?
Rashford sold his opponent short, saying just once instead of twice.
How many times did Murray win the Queen's Club title?
Again, Rashford guessed one shy, saying four when the answer was five.
How many titles did Murray win in the 2016 season?
This time Rashford overshot, answering 13. (Murray won nine.)
Hopefully's there's room in Murray's box at Old Trafford for his brother, Jamie, the bigger Manchester United supporter of the two. (Andy, meanwhile, prefers Arsenal.)
