Murray rules the virtual press room in New York

Andy Murray may have lost his second-round match in straight sets to Felix Auger-Aliassime, but he's won a lot in the press room. The Scott has been both patient and kind, as well as quick-witted and hilarious.

Here he is making sure reporter Ava Wallace got her follow-up question in.

The initial question had been about watching people play from his suite, and the follow-up asked if there was anyone he wouldn't want watching him.

"When I played in the Olympics against [Stan] Wawrinka in the first round in London, [Roger] Federer was sitting in his box for that match," Murray said. "That was quite weird."

Murray also had a funny exchange with a reporter who had a stuffed animal behind him in the virtual press room.

It may have been Noel Alberto, who has a Pikachu in his background. Murray would know a thing or two about toys given he has three young children.

The 33-year-old will leave New York with a 3-2 record after reaching the quarterfinals of the Western & Southern Open.
