YESTERDAY (July 18)

WASHINGTON KASTLES d. Philadelphia Freedoms 23-6

The Kastles looked to be in for another long night at home after the Freedoms swept the opening set of mixed doubles. Yet to win a match at the Kastles Stadium at the Smith Center, Washington had survived Philly by a single game in their road match the night before, but losing the first set seemed to shock the four-time defending champions into vintage form. In the next four sets, the Kastles only lost one game, bageling the Freedoms in men’s doubles and both singles disciplines. The Freedoms have one more chance for redemption at home on Monday, when they host the Kastles for the second time in 2015. Can Philly pull off the elusive upset?

AUSTIN ACES d. Springfield Lasers 18-19 (7-1 STB)

The top and bottom Western Conference teams conspired to play just the second Supertiebreaker of Mylan World TeamTennis’ 40th season, and for the undefeated Austin Aces, it will certainly be one to remember. The Aces trailed the Lasers -- who had won their first match of 2015 on Friday night -- 10-3 after two sets before the home crowd spurred Austin on to another tide-turning set of mixed doubles featuring Alla Kudryavtseva and Teymuraz Gabashvili. Gabashvili would be the MVP of the night, winning another two sets of men’s doubles and singles before stunning Michael Russell in a one-sided Supertiebreaker. After winning a fifth straight match, the Aces play the California Dream one last time at the Sunrise Mall. Can the Aces begin the second week with a 6-0 record?

CALIFORNIA DREAM d. Boston Lobsters 20-17

The Boston Lobsters had a chance to remain in first place in the East -- alongside the Washington Kastles -- but the Dream proved to be a nightmare in the final set. Leading 16-15 with only mixed doubles to go, Neal Skupski and Anabel Medina Garrigues roared past Scott Lipsky and Arantxa Parra Santonja 5-1 to turn the match on its head and run away with the win.

TODAY (July 19)

Boston Lobsters @ San Diego Aviators 9PM EDT

Two teams to watch in 2015 face off for the second time this season, and the Aviators will be looking for revenge after losing to the Lobsters 25-13 at the Manchester Athletic Club. Will young Taylor Fritz continue to impress in men’s singles? How will the Lobsters rebound after losing first place on Saturday?

Springfield Lasers @ Philadelphia Freedoms 7PM EDT

The Lasers continue their road trip out east to face the Philadelphia Freedoms. With a win -- and a close loss to the Austin Aces -- under their belt, how will that affect the former Mylan WTT finalists against 2014 Eastern Conference runner-ups? Can Begemann and Groenefeld continue their winning ways in mixed doubles?

California Dream @ Austin Aces 8PM EDT

The trilogy between the Dream and the Aces comes to its exciting conclusion on Sunday; can California nab a win over the as-yet undefeated Aces? How will the crowd impact what promises to be a raucous affair at the Gregory Gymnasium? With Skupski and Medina Garrigues on song against Boston, how will the pair match up against Kudryavtseva and Gabashvili -- the best mixed doubles team in the professional team tennis league?

TOMORROW (July 20)

Live Stream of the Day: Washington Kastles @ Philadelphia Freedoms 7PM EDT

The Freedoms have played the Kastles tough in one match and seen their chances go up in smoke in another; how will the final encounter of the regular season pan out for Philly -- at home against the five-time Mylan WTT Champions? Will Leander Paes and Anastasia Rodionova hit new strides in mixed doubles? How will Taylor Townsend regroup after a 5-0 loss to Madison Brengle in women’s singles?

Austin Aces @ San Diego Aviators 10PM EDT

Two of the best teams in the West face off at the La Costa Resort for the first time this season. Kudryavtseva/Gabashvili and Darija Jurak/Raven Klaasen have been consistent pairs throughout the 2015 season, playing clutch tennis and making pressure their privilege. How will teenaged Taylor Fritz match up against Teymuraz Gabashvili?
