Nishioka pairs ATP stars with Pokemon characters



Yoshihito Nishioka Talks Pokemon

The world is still getting to know Yoshihito Nishioka despite all he's achieved already: a Top-50 career-high ranking and ATP title in 2018. Fans recently learned, he's very into Pokemon cards, as he was asked to match characters with players on the ATP Tour.

"I don't remember how [many] I have, maybe few thousand or something cards," the Japanese star said.

Here's who he thinks players are most like:

Charizard: Nick Kyrgios for his emotions and strength.

Greninja: Nishioka for being a ninja, because that's one of his nicknames.
